Adoption Weekend – Wrap Up

Good evening,

We had moderate success this weekend with adoptions. Mila, Daphne, Rudy, and Corey were all adopted. 2 adults and 2 kittens now have new homes. Wish our feline friends and their new humans success in their new arrangements.

As always if you have adopted with us and are having trouble with your new cat please contact us immediately so we can help you figure out what’s going on and what we may be able to do about it.

Website Updated

The donate button should be working.

The Facebook feed is still a work in progress.

We will be at PetSmart tomorrow starting around 10am.

So the saying "When it rains, it pours!" is so true for Cause 4 Paws this week.

When we got home from having Willie's CT scan in Richmond, it was determined by our local vet that our pregnant Mom cat "INKY" was in distress and needed to have an emergency C section. We jump in the car and took her to VVC in Central Park. They kept her comfortable and did xrays and determine she might have a blockage in her intestine but had No Surgeon to do the surgery. Yesterday we picked her up and rushed her to Charlottesville VVS where Kevin Stiffler was able to help her. At that time the Babies had all died and he was trying to save the Mom Cat. She did come through it all ok and did have to have a portion of her upper intestine removed (It telescoped previously and didn't cause her problems until the stress of pregnancy with 6 kittens). We are happy to report that she is being released from the hospital tomorrow morning and we feel she will recover.

My name is Squiggles, I’m a 4 year old spayed female short hair blue classic tabby. Current on vaccines and no health issues. Rabies 3yr done 02/02/18 and FVRCP 3yr done 03/02/19 at LHPH under Molly Welch. I’m a very sweet shy girl, and I’m looking for a quiet home with no other kitties that could bully me. I may do well in a new home with a calm dog.
Contact Virginia at Lee's Hill Pet Hospital 540 710-7111. if you have any questions or concerns. I hope C4P can help me find the purfect furever family 😊
